"The mission of Project Against Violent Encounters (PAVE) is to end domestic and sexual violence and to provide supportive and educational services to individuals, families, and the community."

PAVE has a successful thirty year history in Bennington County, Vermont. From grassroots beginnings (a phone line in the living room of a concerned citizen) the organization has grown into an advocacy agency providing a full range of services to victims of domestic and/or sexual violence. Best known for a 24-hour emergency hotline and victim advocacy services, PAVE services have developed to include:
